     In 2016 I transitioned from a 31-year career in business as a result of my own healing journey. I gained profound freedom from childhood trauma as I worked with my own therapists.  This inspired me to pass this gift on to others and to become a therapist. 
     As part of my training and experience I worked Gentle Path at The Meadows, one of the foremost treatment centers that addresses trauma as well as sex and love addiction.  I worked as a primary therapist and a family therapist.  I was also a therapist at the Meadows Outpatient Center treating men struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors.  I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) which treats sex and love addiction. I am also a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) which addresses betrayal trauma caused by partners acting out sexually or relationally outside their primary relationship. Both certifications are issued by the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals.  I am trained in the Meadows Model of Developmental Immaturity (Post Induction Therapy) which addresses dysfunctional relationship patterns created by childhood trauma.  Finally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Safe and Sound Protocol for trauma treatment. I graduated with a BS from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary.  I am licensed by the state of Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-18760).
     When I am not helping others, I love hang out with family and friends and especially my dog.
